James F. Conlan was the Global Practice Leader of Sidley Austin's world-wide Restructuring Practice, and one of a handful of world leaders in corporate restructuring.  

 

During his 32 year career at Sidley, Conlan pioneered structural optimization of mass tort defendants, as well as the art and science of appropriately transferring the structurally optimized legacy liable entities to new owners with more than adequate capital to meet the legacy liabilities.
