James Conlan has 30 years of restructuring leadership experience with two major law firms. Jim was the Global Head of Restructuring at Sidley Austin, where he was a member of the Executive Committee. Jim was lead company counsel on dozens of major US and global corporate restructurings and developed structural optimization for mass-tort defendants. Jim structurally optimized more than ten (10) major companies/mass-tort defendants and advised on a dozen more, including Borg Warner, ITT, Mine Safety Appliances and Exide.
Doug Dachille served as EVP and CIO at AIG, with responsibility for their legacy business segment, later reinsured into newly formed entities. Doug is the former president of Zurich Capital Markets, CEO of First Principles Capital Management, Global Head of Proprietary Trading and Co-Treasurer of JP Morgan.
John Gasparovic has over 20 years of experience as the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of public and private companies with mass-tort liabilities. John has extensive restructuring, mass-tort, and structural optimization experience. He is the former Chief Legal Officer of Borg Warner and oversaw Borg Warner's structural optimization and sale of legacy liabilities to Enstar.
